While taking a few days "Far from the madding crowd", in the "O" town, I read an article about the re-emergence in spending by the wealthy that was certainly good news to all of us in the real estate business. With consumption being strong for $80,000 bicycles, $250,000 watches, and five art sales in excess of 50 million dollars last year, it's time for our Lee County and surrounding areas real estate values to begin to surge. In our local Multiple Listing Service, www.swflrealtors.com, there have been 34 closed sales and 30 pending in the last 90 days. Most are waterfront influenced and indicates the strength of our special paradise.  As the article references, it is much more about a different mind-set, than money. My advice is, " Get your mind set for our Lee County, Florida".
