Last night at Estero High School in southwest Florida, over 1000 very interested locals jammed in the school to hearthe county Commission Chairman Ray Judah do his version of a town hall. If Barak Obama's main antagonist during his town halls was Senator John McCain, then the site at Edison Farms, south of Corkscrew Road was Ray Judah's version. Although the site poses many potential problems from permitting to environmental to infrastructure to traffic congestion, Ray Judah seemed to champion the site choice using his long background as a planner and an environmentalist. Promising the property owners that costs for the project would not come from their property taxes. The Boston Red Sox have been promised a new stadium in 2012, even though they have only been in their old stadium at City of Palms Park since 1993, www.downtownfortmyers.com.  Waterman-Pinnacle, Galvano Development are the two sites north and south of Southwest Florida International Airport, www.fort-myersairport.com , the University Highland is at Corkscrew Road and the Edison Farms property is south of it.
