| According to our Greater Fort Myers and the Beaches MLS, www.swflrealtors.com, Feburary 2009 gave us an increase of 763 single family homes sold with the help of a Realtor over 553 in Feb. of 2008 .The median sales price was $110,000, still affected by a glut of short sales and foreclosures, but up $5000 from January 2009. Our year to date sales is 2276 which is on pace to eclipse last years total of 9628. The condo market is down to 246 from 297 Feb. of 2008, however median sales price rose to $168, 650 from Jan of this year. Total condos sold are 686 through first two months at median sales price of $149, 950, with total sold in 2008 standing at 3836 at $197,700 median sales price. |
